Special Board Meeting

The Bennington Township special board meeting was called to order by Supervisor Lee Ash on February 5, 2014, 1:15pm at the Township Hall.

Present: Jim Forsythe, Cindy Garber, Lee Ash, Nancy Zdunic, Donna Ash.

Forsythe moved to suspend the rules of regular meeting procedure and move on the agenda items. Second by L. Ash.  All board members in favor. Motion carried.

2014 Road Improvement Projects- Tentative Projects

                Painting of white fog lines on paved roads                           ~$17,000.00

                Bennington Hills Chip & Seal 1.9 miles                                 ~$41,000.00

                Bennington Hills Fog Seal 1.9 miles                                     ~$  9,000.00

                Morrice Road Crack Fill from Hibbard Rd to Miller Rd                ~$33,000.00

                Mineral Well Brine                                                            ~$11,000.00

                Garrison Road gravel from M-52 to Ruess Rd                         ~$16,500.00

                Repairs to the Corner of Morrice Road and Bennington Road

2014 – 2015 Budget

                Review again in March with the same numbers for expenditures.

Hall Maintenance Position- Action is already complete.

Ben Glardon has requested the use of hall for a seminar given by the Lieutenant Governor on April 17. L. Ash moved to host the Lieutenant Governor at the Bennington Township Hall for his seminar on Personal Property Tax. Second by Forsythe. All board members in favor. Motion carried.

Forsythe moved to adjourn. Second by L. Ash. Motion carried.
