The Bennington Township Planning Commission Meeting was held on October
23, 2014. Chair Russ Thomas
called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm at the Township Hall.
Members Present: Bernie
Scollan, Russ Thomas, Bill Nash, Dick Demerly, Frank Gregory and Donna Ash.
Absent Rod Harmon
Moved by Frank Gregory to approve the meeting agenda as
printed. Seconded by Dick
Demerly. Motion carried.
Moved by Russ Thomas to accept the minutes of the
September 25, 2014 meeting as printed.
Seconded by Frank Gregory.
Motion carried.
Public Comment:
None.
Donna Ash updated the Board on the Sayles land division.
No new information has been received.
No action was taken.
Moved by Frank Gregory to deny the Dimensional Variance
for Setback requirements – Application #PZBA14-018- by Troy Delcamp Sr.,
4832 W. Bennington Rd., Owosso, MI
48867, property Tax ID No. 78-010-05-300-009, for lack of specific
proposed locations and the appearance there are alternative locations that
meet current code. Seconded by
Bill Nash. Motion carried.
Next meeting is November 20, 2014.
