The Bennington Township Planning Commission Meeting was held on March 31,
2016. Chair Russ Thomas called
the meeting to order at 7:00 pm at the Township Hall.
Members Present: Russ
Thomas, Bill Nash, Donna Ash, Bernie Scollan, Rod Harmon, Frank Gregory and
Dick Demerly
Moved by Rod Harmon to approve the meeting agenda as
printed. Seconded by Donna Ash.
Motion carried.
Moved by Russ Thomas to accept the minutes as printed of
the February 25, 2016 meeting.
Seconded by Frank Gregory.
Motion carried.
No public comment.
Board discussed the letter from the Shiawassee County
Planning Commission pertaining to the interpretation the proposed use of
4377 S M-52 (Formally known as Bennington Hills Golf club), Section 10,
Bennington Township (Parcel ID # 010-10-100-005-01).
No action taken.
The Board discussed the Application for Site Plan Review
#PSPR16-002 by Crooked Tree Nursery of 2881 W Bennington Rd., Owosso, MI
48867 – Tax ID# 010-10-100-001-01 Section 10, Bennington Township to expand
an open air business. The Board
is waiting for further information before taking action.
