The Bennington Township Planning Commission Meeting was held on June 21, 2012. Chair Russ Thomas called the meeting to order at 6:58 pm.
Members present: Russ Thomas, Bill Nash, Donna Ash, Frank Gregory and Dick Demerly.
Moved by Frank Gregory to approve the agenda as printed. Seconded by Dick Demerly. Motion carried.
Moved by Donna Ash to accept the May 31, 2012 minutes as written. Seconded by Frank Gregory. Motion carried.
Comments from the audience:
John Homala spoke on the
proposed zoning changes for Crooked Tree Nursery, 2881 W. Bennington Rd.,
Owosso, MI 48867.
The proposed changes would change the zoning from A-2 & M-1 to B-2.
Moved by Frank Gregory to approve proposed zoning changes from A-2 &
M-1 to B-2. Seconded by Dick
Demerly. Bill Nash abstained
from voting
and discussion. Motion carried.
The Board discussed the updated 2011 Bennington Township
Master Plan. The Board would
like to see the final version draft at the next meeting.
Moved by Frank Gregory to table the issues until the nest meeting,
July 26, 2012. Seconded by Bill
Nash. Motion
carried.
The next Bennington Township Planning Commission meeting date will be on July 26, 2012.
Moved by Dick Demerly to adjourn the meeting at 8:01 PM. Seconded by Bill Nash. Motion carried.
