The Bennington Township Planning Commission Meeting was held on February
25, 2016. Chair Russ Thomas
called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm at the Township Hall.
Members Present: Russ
Thomas, Bill Nash, Donna Ash, Bernie Scollan and Rod Harmon.
Absent: Frank Gregory and Dick Demerly
Moved by Russ Thomas to approve the meeting agenda as
printed. Seconded by Bernie
Scollan. Motion carried.
Moved by Donna Ash to accept the minutes as printed of
the January 28, 2016 meeting.
Seconded by Russ Thomas. Motion
carried.
Public Comment:
Matt Dutcher was present to answer any questions the Board had
concerning the two Land Division Applications.
Moved by Rod Harmon to approve the Land Division
Application, PLD16-0007, by Matthew A. Dutcher of 5307 Morrice Rd., Owosso,
MI 48867. The location of the
Parent Property to be split is 7595 Gale Rd., Morrice, MI
48857 – Parcel Identification #78-010-25-400-001.
Seconded by Bill Nash.
Motion carried
Moved by Rod Harmon to approve the Land Division
Application by Matthew Dutcher of 5307 Morrice Rd., Owosso, MI 48867.
Parent Property to be split is located at 810 W. Bennington Rd.,
Owosso, MI 48867 – Parcel
Identification # 010-01-300-005.
The remaining 18.7 Acres may not result in a buildable parcel.
Seconded by Bill Nash.
Motion carried.
Moved by Russ Thomas to appoint Bill Nash and Rod Harmon
to another 3 year term on the Bennington Township Planning Commission.
Seconded by Bernie Scollan.
Motion carried.
Next meeting is March 31, 2016.
