April 30, 2015
The Bennington Township Planning Commission Meeting was held on April 30,
2015. Chair Russ Thomas called
the meeting to order at 7:00 pm at the Township Hall.
Members Present: Bernie
Scollan, Russ Thomas, Bill Nash, Dick Demerly, Frank Gregory, Donna Ash and
Rod Harmon
Moved by Donna Ash to approve the meeting agenda.
Seconded by Frank Gregory. Motion carried.
Moved by Frank Gregory to accept the minutes of the March
26, 2015 meeting as corrected.
Seconded by Dick Demerly. Motion
carried.

PZBA15-006 by Frank and Susan Busnardo of 4849 Mohican Trail, Owosso, MI
48867. Property Tax I.D.

Moved by Bill Nash to approve site plan and special land
use permit for Verizon Telecommunications Tower, Application Request #
PSUP15-01. It is the Verizon
Wireless Site 304 as stated in staff report, applicant Ben Varney Pyramid
Network Services, 4700 Hunt St., Cass City, Michigan.
Property owner is Constine Gravel Co., 7549 S. M-52, Owosso, MI
48867. Seconded by Rod Harmon.
Motion carried.
The Board discussed the letter from Consulting Group G2,
1866 Woodslee Street, Troy, Michigan 48083 concerning the possibility the
proposed Verizon Telecommunications Tower Construction would adversely
affect historic properties in Bennington Township. No action taken.
Next meeting is May 28, 2015.
