The Bennington Township Planning Commission Meeting was held on April 28,
2016. Chair Russ Thomas called
the meeting to order at 7:00 pm at the Township Hall.
Members Present: Russ
Thomas, Bill Nash, Donna Ash, Bernie Scollan, Frank Gregory and Dick
Demerly. Absent Rod Harmon
Moved by Frank Gregory to approve the meeting agenda as
printed. Seconded by Dick
Demerly. Motion carried.
Moved by Dick Demerly to accept the minutes as printed of
the March 31, 2016 meeting.
Seconded by Donna Ash. Motion
carried.
No public comment.
Moved by Frank Gregory to approve a Home Occupation
Permit by Edward French, of 6453 South Delaney Rd., Owosso, MI 48867, for
use of home for Office for Class W. Automotive Wholesaler Business. This
conforms to Specific Standards found under Article 5, Section 5.3.2.A.
Seconded by Russ Thomas.
Motion carried.
Russ Thomas updated the Board on Sciota Township’s Notice
of Intent to update their Land Use Plan.
No action taken.
