October 7, 2013
The Bennington Township regular board meeting was called to order by
Supervisor Lee Ash on October 7, 2013, 7:00pm, at the Township Hall.
Present:
Jim Forsythe, Cindy Garber, Lee Ash, Nancy Zdunic, Donna Ash.
L. Ash move to approve the agenda as presented. Second
by Forsythe. Motion carried.
Forsythe moved to approve the minutes for the
September 3, 2013 regular board meeting as presented. Second by Zdunic.
All board members in favor. Motion carried.
L. Ash moved to approve the Treasurer’s report as
presented. Second by Forsythe. All board members in favor. Motion
carried.
Forsythe moved to pay bills as presented in the amount
of $28,054.20. Second by Garber. All board members in favor. Motion
carried.
Public Comment:
Justin Horvath gave an update of the Shiawassee
Economic Development Partnership. A report is on file.
Board Reports:
Library- No report
Plan Comm- D. Ash- The next meeting has been changed
from 10/31/13 to 10/24/13.
Roads- L.Ash- Update
Web Page- Forsythe- Update
Unfinished Business:
Cemetery Deed Transfer Fee- Hold for next meeting.
Zdunic moved to limit the number of cemetery spaces a
resident may purchase at the price of $50.00 per space to two. Second by
Garber. All board members in favor. Motion carried.
New Business:
2012 - 2013 Audit Letter of Recommendation- Forsythe
moved to approve the 2012 - 2013 Audit Letter of Recommendation as
presented. Second by L. Ash. All board members in favor. Motion carried.
2012 - 2013 Audit- Zdunic moved to approve the 2012 –
2013 Audit Report as presented. Second by Forsythe. All board members in
favor. Motion carried.
Burnham & Flower- A request was received from Burnham
& Flower to sign a Business Associate Agreement with them. This request
will be held for next meeting for further review.
Forsythe moved to adjourn. Second by L. Ash. Motion carried.
