The Bennington Township regular board meeting was called to order by Supervisor Lee Ash on July 5, 2011, 7:00pm at the Township Hall.

Present: Cindy Garber, Lee Ash, Nancy Zdunic, Donna Ash

Jim Forsythe was not present.

Zdunic moved to approve the agenda as printed. Second by L. Ash. Motion carried.

Zdunic moved to approve the minutes for the June 6, 2011 regular board meeting as printed. Second by Garber. All board members present in favor. Motion carried.

L. Ash moved to approve the Treasurer's report as presented. Seconded by D. Ash. All board members present in favor. Motion carried.

L. Ash moved to pay bills as presented in the amount of$21,293.47. Second by Garber. All board members present in favor.  Motion carried.                 -

Board Reports:

Library-Humphrey- Minutes on file.

Plan Comm- D. Ash- Doug Piggott from Rowe Engineering discussed the procedure for Flood Plain Insurance, Planning Commission Establishment, and the Land Use Plan update. Russell Thomas was selected as the new Chairman.

Roads- L. Ash- Reviewed crack seal bids.

SSESA- Hubbard- Update.

Unfinished Business:

Tables for Twp Hall- Zdunic obtained prices for heavy' duty plastic 8' x 30" tables for the Township Hall.

Sam's Club- $79.99, Staples- $109.99, Life Time Products- $169.99.
New Business:

Charter Township Information- Bennington Township qualifies to become a Charter Township with a population of 2000 or more. Information will be reviewed for the next meeting.
