July 1, 2013
The Bennington Township regular board meeting was called to order by
Supervisor Lee Ash on July 1, 2013, 7:00 pm at the Township Hall.
Present: Jim Forsythe, Cindy Garber, Lee Ash, Nancy
Zdunic, Donna Ash.
L. Ash moved to approve the agenda with additions.
Second by Forsythe. Motion carried.
Zdunic moved to approve the minutes for the June 3,
2013 regular board meeting as printed.
Second by Forsythe. All board members in favor.
Motion carried.
L. Ash moved to approve the Treasurer’s report as
presented. Second by
Forsythe. All board members
in favor. Motion carried.
Forsythe moved to pay bills as presented in the
amount of $97,470.01. Second by Zdunic.
All board members in favor.
Motion carried.
Public Comment:
Guy Hubbard SSESA Fire Chief gave an update of
activities.
Jeff Bartz Shiawassee County Commissioner gave an
update.

Plan Comm- D. Ash- Update. Next meeting 7/25/13.

Unfinished Business: None.
New Business:
Ed Franks, Lake Manitou Association- Request for the
use of the Township Hall at no cost for a monthly meeting of the
Association for a 12 month trial
period. There would not be any food therefore no mess and only about 20
people at each meeting. The
board previously took action on the same request by Fred Farkas at the
March 4, 2013 meeting. The use of the hall at no charge was denied at
that time.
