Unfinished Business:

Basketball Court- The basketball court is complete. There is an issue with the accuracy of the lines and there is still the need to place dirt around the edges.

New Business:

Fireworks-  A letter was received form Karen and Martin Stone regarding their complaint of the Nash Nurseries Fireworks Display on Saturday,  July 27, 2013. The letter indicted that the fireworks display was “more extensive, lengthy, louder and extremely frustrating”. The letter suggested the board contact the Shiawassee County Sheriff Department for additional complaints.  The clerk contacted the Sheriff’s Department and was told there was no record of any complaints on date of the fireworks.  A letter will be sent to Nash Nurseries regarding the complaint and any additional fireworks permit applications will be reviewed with consideration of the time frame being adjusted if necessary.
