August 4, 2014
The Bennington Township regular board meeting was called to order by
Supervisor Lee Ash on August 4, 2014, 7:00pm at the Township Hall.
Present: Jim Forsythe, Cindy Garber, Lee Ash, Nancy
Zdunic, Donna Ash.
Forsythe moved to approve the agenda with additions.
Second by L. Ash. Motion carried.
Zdunic moved to approve the minutes as printed for the
July 7, 2014 regular board meeting as printed. Second by Garber. All
board members in favor. Motion carried.
L. Ash moved to approve the Treasurer’s report as
presented. Second by Forsythe. All board members in favor. Motion
carried.
Forsythe moved to pay bills as presented in the amount
of $51,321.23. Second by L. Ash. All board members in favor. Motion
carried.
Public Comment: None
Board Reports:
Library- E. Humphrey- Minutes on file.
Plan Comm- D. Ash- Update. Next meeting 8/28/14.
Roads- L. Ash- Letter received from Fahrner Asphalt
indicated that they were not in favor of the Chip Seal Project in
Bennington Hills. Shiawassee County Road Commission stated that they
would change the project to a different quality chip seal and the County
would pay the difference.

New Business:
Meeting Date Change – L. Ash moved to change the
regularly scheduled September meeting from September 3, 2014 to
September 8, 2014. Second by Forsythe. All board members in favor.
Motion carried.
Correspondence received from the Attorney General
Office by request of Mr. John Hurd regarding contributions to
M.A.G.N.E.T.
Forsythe moved to adjourn. Second by L. Ash. Motion
carried.
