August 3, 2015
The Bennington Township regular board meeting was called to order by
Supervisor Lee Ash on August 3, 2015, 7:00pm at the Township Hall.
Present: Jim Forsythe, Cindy Garber, Lee Ash, Nancy
Zdunic, Donna Ash.
Zdunic moved to approve the agenda as printed. Second
by Garber. Motion carried.
Zdunic moved to approve the minutes for the July 6,
2015 regular board meeting as printed. Second by L. Ash. All board
members in favor. Motion carried.
L. Ash moved to approve the Treasurer’s report as
presented. Second by Forsythe. All board members in favor. Motion
carried.
Forsythe moved to pay bills as presented in the amount
of $97,200.52. Second by Zdunic. All board members in favor. Motion
carried.
Public Comment: None
Board Reports:
Library- Humphrey – Minutes on file for June & July.
Plan Comm- D. Ash – Update, no new business.
Roads- L. Ash – Lines on Morrice Rd. and the 2nd
Mineral Brine Application are the only projects that are not yet
completed.
Web Page- Forsythe – Update. The web page name was
renewed for two years and the web site was renewed for one year.
Unfinished Business:
Cemetery Signs – Zdunic moved to have Edwards Signs
make new signs for all three cemeteries and install them that a cost of
$117/sign with an installation fee of $60/sign. Second by Forsythe. All
board members in favor. Motion carried.
New Business:
Cemetery Open & Close Prices – Zdunic moved to approve
the price from Constine Gravel for Opening and Closing of burial spaces
at a cost of $300.00/burial and $350/burial on weekends and holidays for
Oakwood and Alton Cemetery and $400/burial for Howard Cemetery with the
cost to the owner remaining the same at $350/burial for weekdays and
$400/burial on weekends and holidays. Second by L. Ash. All board
members in favor. Motion carried.
Outdoor outlets – Reviewed the price to place two
outlets on the outside of the Hall. The Board decided not to do this at
this time.
Zdunic moved to adjourn. Second by L. Ash. Motion carried.
