Annual Meeting

The Bennington Township Annual meeting was called to order by Supervisor Lee Ash on March 26, 2014, 7:00pm at the Township Hall. 

Present: Jim Forsythe, Cindy Garber, Lee Ash, Donna Ash.

Nancy Zdunic was not present.

Seven Residents also present.

L. Ash moved to approve the agenda as printed. Second by Forsythe. Motion carried.

Forsythe moved to approve the minutes for the March 26, 2013 Annual meeting as printed. Second by Garber. All board members present in favor. Motion carried. 

Supervisor Comments – Lee Ash – Year End Report of Township Activities.

New Business:

Annual Meeting 2015 – Forsythe moved to hold an Annual Meeting for the 2014 – 2015 fiscal year. Second by Garber. All board members present in favor. Motion carried.

2014 – 2015 Budget Presentation:

Public Comment:

Larry Alpert – SATA Update

Larry Johnson – Interested in the Township having a Township wide garbage pickup.

Jim Forsythe – Asked if anyone knew of a place or had a place where down limbs could be placed.

Larry Johnson – Asked what the current fund balance of the Township was.  Garber stated is was about 1.1 million.

Lynn Bowne Township Attorney – Updated the board on the property purchase status.

Forsythe moved to adjourn. Second by L. Ash. Motion carried.

The Bennington Township Budget Hearing was called to order by Supervisor Lee Ash on March 26, 2014, 7:50pm at the Bennington Township Hall.

Forsythe moved to approve the 2014 – 2015 budget as presented. Second by Garber. All board members present in favor. Motion carried.

Forsythe moved to adjourn. Second by L. Ash. Motion carried.
