August 2, 2021
The Bennington Township regular meeting was called to order by Supervisor Lee Ash on August 2, 2021, 7:00pm, at the Township Hall.
Present: Jim Forsythe, Cody Baker, Lee Ash, Matt Dutcher, Donna Ash .
Also Present: Township Attorney Lynn Bowne
Forsythe moved to approve the agenda as printed. Second by Baker. Motion carried.
Forsythe moved to approve the minutes as printed for the July 5, 2021 regular meeting. Second by Dutcher. All board members in favor. Motion carried.
L. Ash moved to approve the Treasurer’s report as presented. Second by Forsythe. All board members in favor. Motion carried.
Dutcher moved to approve payment of bills as presented in the amount of $63,474.42. Second by L. Ash. All board members in favor. Motion carried.
Public Comment:
Co Comm Garber updated the board of county activities.
Numerous residents present to comment on an agenda item. Supervisor will give them an opportunity to talk at that time.
Board Reports:
Library – Garber – A new web site had been created. Discussion of millage.
Plan Comm – D. Ash – Approved one land division and tabled one lot line adjustment for opinion of Township Attorney, changed the August meeting date to August 25, 2021.
Roads – L. Ash- Projects are completed except for the painting of lines.
Old Business:
Township Property Survey – On the schedule for August.
America Rescue Plan Act – Submitted request to receive funds.
New Business:
Audit – Forsythe moved to approve the representation letter for the 2021 – 2021 Township audit. Second by Baker. All board members in favor. Motion carried. Will hold the audit for further review until next meeting.
L. Ash moved to adjourn. Second by Forsythe. Motion carried.
